EVERSANA is seeking an experienced Senior SQL Server Data Modeler with deep expertise in designing enterprise OLTP data models for pharmaceutical applications. This is a specialized data modeling role—not data engineering or reporting—focused on translating complex business requirements into scalable, robust database architectures.
You will collaborate closely with Product Managers and business stakeholders to gather requirements, design conceptual, logical, and physical data models, and partner with engineering teams to implement enterprise solutions. Your pharmaceutical domain expertise will be critical as you design data models for pricing, market access, contracts, tenders, reference pricing, and related commercial processes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Gathering and analyzing business requirements from Product and stakeholder teams
- Designing enterprise OLTP database architectures for complex pharmaceutical workflows
- Creating scalable SQL Server schemas with strong normalization and referential integrity
- Ensuring data integrity, performance optimization, and maintainability
- Building AI-enabled enterprise solutions using RAG, Prompt Engineering, and AI Agents
- Integrating Large Language Models with structured SQL Server data
- Designing secure, scalable AI solutions that enhance business productivity and decision-making
Required qualifications: 8+ years of SQL Server data modeling experience, proven track record designing enterprise OLTP applications from business requirements, direct experience working with Product Owners and business stakeholders, strong database architecture and application design skills, and hands-on experience building AI-powered solutions using RAG, Prompt Engineering, and AI Agents. Pharmaceutical industry experience is mandatory.
Technical expertise required: SQL Server 2019/2022, advanced T-SQL, enterprise OLTP data modeling, ER modeling, database architecture design, normalization, performance optimization, domain-driven design, GPT/OpenAI or Azure OpenAI, RAG, Prompt Engineering, AI Agents, vector databases, and semantic search.
Nice-to-have skills: .NET Core, Azure SQL, Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, REST APIs, Docker, and Kubernetes.
