TradingView, the world's largest financial analysis platform with 100M+ users across 180+ countries, is seeking a Senior Data Integration Engineer (QA) to own data streams end-to-end. This role focuses on data quality as a product rather than traditional UI/API testing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and enforce data quality requirements, metrics, and SLAs aligned with business and engineering needs
- Design and implement monitoring dashboards and alerting systems to track data SLAs and proactively identify anomalies, drift, duplicates, and defects
- Conduct root cause analysis across the full data lifecycle when discrepancies occur; fix incorrect records and implement preventive measures
- Participate in data schema and model design; lead onboarding and ingestion of new data sources and APIs
- Expand automated data quality test coverage and build pipeline checks to catch issues early
- Collaborate cross-functionally with developers, product managers, and analysts to clarify requirements and optimize pipelines
- Maintain comprehensive data documentation, schema definitions, and defect logs
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years in Data Integration, Data Quality, DataOps, or Data Analytics
- Strong understanding of data profiling, anomalies, and core DQ dimensions (completeness, accuracy, consistency, timeliness)
- Hands-on experience with data pipelines (ETL, batch, or streaming) and API/backend data feed ingestion
- Solid knowledge of JSON/YAML, version control (Git/GitHub), and CI/CD practices (GitLab, Jenkins)
- B2+ English proficiency with strong technical communication
Desirable Skills:
- Domain knowledge in investments, brokers, crypto exchanges, or financial markets
- Familiarity with TradingView as a product
- Python scripting for data processing or automated quality checks; Regex expertise
- Experience with streaming platforms (Kafka), data observability tools, or data catalogs
- Comfort with CLI/Linux, Bash, and reading application logs
- Familiarity with AI-assisted engineering workflows
