Vi is an enterprise AI platform serving healthcare, biopharma, and wellness organizations. The company deploys agentic AI and predictive models into production environments to drive clinical and operational outcomes.
You will join as a Senior Data Engineer to architect and scale the data foundation powering Vi's platform. This is a hands-on individual contributor role focused on solving complex data challenges end-to-end: ingestion, transformation, modeling, quality assurance, observability, and production delivery.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and building scalable data pipelines that ingest and transform large, fragmented healthcare datasets
- Developing reliable, reusable data capabilities that serve engineering, data science, and product teams
- Establishing data quality standards and monitoring in production environments
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams (engineering, data science, product) to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Setting high technical standards and mentoring through code review and architectural guidance
- Owning data infrastructure decisions that impact platform reliability and performance
You should be a strong independent builder comfortable with ambiguity, capable of breaking down complex problems, and committed to shipping production-grade solutions. Experience with healthcare data, real-time pipelines, or ML infrastructure is valuable but not required.
