The Data Engineering Team is expanding and seeking a Senior Data Engineer to architect and evolve a world-class data platform. You'll take ownership of designing and implementing scalable, high-performance ETL pipelines and storage solutions, ensuring operational excellence and data correctness across all systems. Key responsibilities include: - Architect and own the development of a cutting-edge data platform using state-of-the-art technologies, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability. - Lead the development of the analytics and semantic layer, building robust data models and transformations to drive business intelligence and support AI applications. - Drive self-service data empowerment by developing high-quality data products that enable other teams to access reliable insights quickly, with proactive monitoring and alerting systems. - Mentor and guide a team of data and software engineers, setting best practices for coding, data modeling, and pipeline design while fostering continuous improvement. - Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, and Design teams to understand data needs, translate requirements into actionable plans, and communicate data-led recommendations. - Champion modern, high-velocity development practices and AI-first approaches, writing clean, scalable code and cultivating an environment focused on technical excellence. - Influence key business and technical decisions, leveraging expertise to shape the strategic direction of Beamery's data platform. You'll work on integrations with SAP, Workday, Microsoft, and LinkedIn, embedding skills intelligence into critical workforce decision-making platforms. The role offers the opportunity to enhance a newly built data platform that supports Beamery's ambition for best-in-class self-service reporting capabilities and underpins the company's AI strategy.
