Allica Bank, the UK's fastest-growing fintech firm, is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join its data engineering team in Delhi. The role is central to Allica's mission of serving established SMEs, a historically underserved segment in financial services.
You will own the design, development, and maintenance of robust data pipelines and infrastructure that power data ingestion and modeling across the organization. Working closely with Finance, Operations, Credit Risk, Product, and Management teams, you'll help translate data into actionable insights and drive a data-driven culture throughout the company.
Key responsibilities include: understanding and evolving the data landscape and architecture; designing and implementing scalable data pipelines; building and maintaining data modeling frameworks; automating manual processes and optimizing data delivery; establishing data and coding standards with comprehensive documentation and testing; and implementing data governance best practices.
You will work from prototyping through production, ensuring tools are well-tested, documented, and aligned with company standards. The role offers opportunities to identify and implement process improvements that enhance scalability and efficiency across the data stack.
