Twilio is seeking a Senior Data and AI Specialist to join the Strategy & Operations team within Industry Relations & Strategic Growth. This high-visibility role combines data analysis, Python scripting, and AI/agentic workflows to unlock growth for Twilio's customers and business.
Key responsibilities include architecting and deploying LLMs and agents to automate complex, multi-step data investigations; building Python-based automated workflows to transform manual processes into scalable solutions; performing SQL queries and analyses across telecommunications datasets to optimize gross margins, reduce fraud, and improve network quality; designing dashboards and BI solutions (Tableau, Looker, Python) that deliver actionable insights; and collaborating cross-functionally with Carrier Relations, Enterprise Technology, Product, Supply Operations, and Finance to translate business needs into data requirements and governance standards.
You will own data products end-to-end—from scoping requirements and documentation through execution and delivery. The role requires strong technical depth in data architecture, AI orchestration, and analytics, combined with the ability to communicate complex insights clearly to business stakeholders. You'll work with the largest customers and partners in the CPaaS category, alongside a team of operators and former consultants who have driven exceptional impact in product-led growth, international expansion, and go-to-market strategy.
Twilio is remote-first but may request occasional in-person attendance for team gatherings, functional off-sites, or customer meetings. The company values diverse experiences and encourages applications from non-traditional career paths.
