Join Twilio's Strategy & Operations team as a Senior Data and AI Specialist, where you'll unlock growth for customers and the business through data analysis, AI automation, and strategic insights. This high-visibility role sits within Industry Relations & Strategic Growth and focuses on improving product quality, fighting fraud, reducing billing errors, and optimizing gross margins across Twilio's global telecommunications network.
You will architect and deploy LLMs and agentic workflows to automate complex, multi-step data investigations that currently require manual effort. Using Python, SQL, and modern AI orchestration frameworks, you'll transform repetitive processes into scalable solutions. You'll design dashboards and BI solutions (Tableau, Looker, or Python) that empower business partners with self-serve data insights and actionable intelligence.
On the analytics side, you'll perform deep-dive SQL queries across complex telecommunications datasets, define KPIs, conduct root-cause analysis, and model scenarios to drive decision-making. You'll collaborate closely with Carrier Relations, Enterprise Technology, Engineering, Product, Supply Operations, and Finance to translate business requirements into data architecture and governance standards.
This is an end-to-end ownership role: you'll scope requirements, author documentation, build data pipelines, deploy solutions, and ensure delivery on time and to high standards. The ideal candidate has an extreme owner/founder mindset, thrives in ambiguity, and is excited to bridge today's manual analytics workflows with tomorrow's agentic AI systems. You'll work in a remote-first environment with occasional in-person gatherings for team offsites and customer meetings.
