Shield AI is seeking a Senior Data & Analytics Engineer to enable business domains onto the Databricks platform. This hybrid builder role sits at the intersection of data engineering and analytics engineering, requiring technical depth in transformations and lakehouse patterns alongside business fluency to build trustworthy models for stakeholders.
You will develop governed Silver and Gold assets, reusable semantic patterns, and domain-ready analytical models that accelerate self-service analytics while maintaining enterprise consistency. This is not a dashboard-focused role—instead, you'll architect durable, governed datasets and semantic assets that serve as the foundation for business intelligence across the organization.
Initial focus areas include G&A and GTM-oriented domains such as Accounting, Program Finance, RevOps, Marketing, and HR. As the team matures, you'll expand to support more complex domains like Product and Engineering analytics. You'll work cross-functionally with business stakeholders to understand requirements, translate them into scalable data models, and empower teams to leverage analytics independently.
