SeatGeek is modernizing the ticketing industry and seeks a Senior Data Analyst for the Risk Analytics team. You will be the analytical engine behind fraud prevention strategy, building models, running experiments, and developing tools that reduce reliance on external black boxes and static rules.
Key responsibilities include: building and maintaining Python-based analyses, models, and data pipelines supporting fraud decisioning and risk scoring; designing and running statistical experiments including A/B tests and vendor performance assessments; developing and iterating on internal fraud risk models with ownership of calibration, validation, and monitoring; actively using AI tools (LLMs, code generation, agentic workflows) to accelerate analysis and identify automation opportunities; contributing to vendor performance analysis to inform routing and contract decisions; building and maintaining Looker and Hex dashboards with SQL models; monitoring fraud and operations metrics to investigate anomalies; and collaborating with Risk Ops, Engineering, Payments, and CX teams to translate analysis into action.
You bring 3+ years of experience in fraud analytics, risk, fintech, or quantitatively demanding analytical roles. You have strong Python skills (pandas, scikit-learn, statsmodels) and can build end-to-end analyses independently. SQL proficiency is essential—you can own complex data pulls, understand warehouse structures, and build reliable views and models. You have solid statistical grounding: designing valid experiments, performing significance testing, assessing model calibration, and communicating findings to non-technical audiences. You have hands-on experience building, training, and validating classification models independently, with familiarity in model evaluation, class imbalance handling, and translating outputs into business decisions. You are genuinely enthusiastic about AI tools, actively using LLMs and code generation daily, and you think strategically about AI-assisted workflows. You are comfortable operating in ambiguity and defining problems as much as solving them. Familiarity with fraud vendors (Forter, Riskified, Sardine) and BI tools like Looker is a plus.
