Rippling is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join its Payments Data & Analytics team. You will design, build, and maintain services that process vast amounts of financial data, providing visibility into every stage of the money movement lifecycle within Rippling's payments product ecosystem.
In this foundational role, you will ensure accurate settlement between customers, external financial institutions, and Rippling for every transaction. This is a highly cross-functional position with significant visibility to the executive team. You will empower the Accounting, Finance, Business Operations, Payments, and Product teams by delivering accurate data critical to Rippling's finances and essential for correct product system functioning.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating cross-functionally with engineering, accounting, financial partnerships, and product teams to analyze and account for billions of dollars flowing through the Rippling payment platform
- Building full-cycle analyses using SQL, Python, or other scripting and statistical tools
- Designing and maintaining data pipelines and analytics infrastructure for payments processing
- Developing dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights to stakeholders
- Identifying data quality issues and implementing solutions
- Supporting financial reconciliation and settlement processes
- Contributing to product strategy through data-driven insights
