Midi Health is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to serve as the analytical engine for their two-sided healthcare marketplace. This role reports to the Director of Data Science + Analytics and focuses on translating operational data into actionable insights that drive marketplace growth and efficiency. You will own marketplace health diagnostics, defining and tracking core metrics around supply/demand balance, cancellation/rescheduling dynamics, capacity utilization, and geographic distribution. You'll perform deep-dive root-cause analyses to uncover inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and drop-off points across patient and clinician journeys. Your work will directly inform strategic decisions on provider onboarding, market expansion, and geo-targeted growth investments. Key responsibilities include building robust BI/reporting infrastructure and executive dashboards, developing cohort analyses and diagnostic frameworks, and partnering with Demand, Supply, Operations, and Product leadership to translate marketplace insights into concrete strategy. You'll collaborate closely with Data Engineering and Data Science teams to ensure data pipelines, metric definitions, and production data models support analytics needs, and provide feedback to influence prioritization of high-impact data science projects. Required skills: Advanced SQL (complex queries, window functions, CTEs, scalable data modeling), proficiency with BI/visualization tools for executive dashboards, Python for statistical analysis and exploratory data analysis, and hands-on experience with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift) and transformation tools (dbt). You'll need 5+ years in Data Analytics, Product Analytics, or Business Intelligence in high-growth tech environments, with strong business acumen to connect metric movements to revenue, cost, and operational drivers. Exceptional communication skills are essential—you must translate complex data into clear stories for non-technical executives. Preferred experience includes analyzing two-sided marketplaces or dynamic supply/demand platforms, healthcare operations or insurance networks, and familiarity with queueing dynamics or forecasting models. This is a full-time W2 position. The interview process includes a recruiter screen (30 min), hiring manager screen (30 min), technical screen (1 hr), and panel interviews (3 hours + lunch in Palo Alto office). Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship needs.
