PadSplit is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to own analytics end-to-end and build durable reporting infrastructure that shapes how the company measures its business. You will work daily across a modern data stack (Snowflake, dbt, Hex) to answer high-impact questions, translate ambiguous business problems into rigorous analyses, and raise the analytical bar across Growth, Operations, Product, and Finance teams.
You will be responsible for scoping analytical questions, writing expert-level SQL, building scalable reporting systems, and communicating findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. The role requires strong judgment about methodology, the ability to defend analytical approaches, and discernment about when to leverage AI tools versus manual verification. You will take ownership from problem definition through outcome follow-up, ensuring analyses are well-documented and trustworthy.
The ideal candidate has 5+ years of analytics experience, deep SQL proficiency, and a track record of translating business ambiguity into clear, actionable insights. You are detail-oriented, curious, and comfortable working in a data-driven organization where decisions are informed by rigorous analysis.
