This role sits at the intersection of Clinical Operations, Quality, Talent, Business Strategy, and Product, serving as the primary analytical partner to Clinical Leadership and the Executive team.
Key responsibilities include:
**Clinician Lifecycle & Funnel Analytics:** Track and optimize the provider hiring funnel to identify drop-off points, streamline time-to-hire, and improve conversion rates. Build predictive frameworks and monitoring dashboards to reduce state-by-state licensing bottlenecks and decrease time-to-first-consultation. Analyze first-year retention trends, identifying early-warning indicators of burnout or regrettable turnover.
**Operational Performance & Efficiency:** Design and maintain performance scorecards tracking operational metrics including appointment on-time start rates, EMR/EHR inbox turnaround times, chart completion speed, and panel utilization.
**Clinical Quality & Interaction Scoring:** Establish scoring frameworks to extract insights from visit transcripts using text analytics and LLM tools. Quantify qualitative provider attributes such as patient rapport, empathy, and active listening. Partner with Clinical Quality and Safety teams to incorporate chart audit scores and clinical safety compliance into unified provider scorecards.
**Downstream Impact Analysis:** Conduct causal and correlation analyses linking clinician behaviors, operational SLAs, and empathy scores to patient retention, NPS, and treatment plan adherence. Translate complex provider performance data into executive dashboards and strategic frameworks informing clinician compensation, training programs, and operational workflows.
**Required Technical Skills:** Expert-level SQL for querying and modeling complex relational databases across operational and EHR systems. Advanced Python proficiency for statistical analysis, cohort modeling, survival analysis, and text/sentiment processing. Proven ability to design executive-ready dashboards in modern BI tools (Looker, Tableau, PowerBI). Familiarity with text mining, sentiment analysis, or prompt-based LLM evaluation frameworks. Experience with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks) and modern AI tools.
**Domain Expertise:** Understanding of clinical operations, provider scheduling, EMR/EHR workflows (Epic, Athena, telehealth EHRs), and clinical quality metrics. Experience with behavioral and lifecycle analytics, cohort analysis, and causal inference methods.
