Tabby is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to lead analytical efforts across the organization. This role combines deep technical expertise in SQL with business acumen to drive data-informed decision-making across the company.
Key responsibilities include performing root-cause analysis on complex business datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, then translating findings into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders. You will write highly optimized SQL queries for data extraction and manipulation, serving as the go-to expert in SQL best practices within the analytics team. You'll build and maintain automated dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker to track business KPIs, while also creating ad-hoc reports to answer urgent business questions.
Data quality and governance are critical: you'll ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data used for analysis, collaborate with data engineering teams to maintain robust data pipelines, and proactively identify and resolve data quality issues. You'll present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, support senior management with data-driven decision-making, and partner with business, operations, risk, finance, and product teams to support problem-solving.
Required qualifications include a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Data Science, or related discipline, with 3–5 years of experience in data analytics or business intelligence. Strong SQL skills are essential. Experience with visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker) is a plus, as is background in fintech, lending, collections, risk, or consumer finance.
