Melio is a fast-growing B2B payments platform helping small business owners streamline back-office operations. As a Senior Data Analyst, you'll partner with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Risk, and Data Science teams to drive data-informed decision-making across the organization.
Your core responsibilities include identifying and analyzing trends in complex datasets to generate actionable insights, defining and implementing KPIs across functional teams, and accompanying product features from design through performance validation. You'll translate business and product requirements into analytical logic, creating clear visualizations that tell compelling data stories using BI tools like Tableau or Redash.
You'll work in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment within Melio's Data department, which collaborates on statistical methods, machine learning techniques, and anomaly detection algorithms. The team focuses on extracting valuable insights from complex data to ensure the company meets its goals and scales effectively.
Minimum qualifications: 5+ years as a Data Analyst with expert-level SQL, strong data modeling and data warehousing experience, proficiency in BI tools, and hands-on expertise using advanced AI capabilities to generate queries and build dashboards. You should excel at simplifying complex ideas for stakeholders, thrive in high-intensity environments, and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills.
Preferred: background in growth or product marketing analytics, or degree in Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or related field.
