Insify is a Series B-backed European SME insurance scale-up (€40M+ funded by Accel, Munich Re Ventures, and others) operating across the Netherlands, Germany, and France. The company is building a unified metric layer to standardize how insurance products are measured and tracked across markets, replacing the traditional spreadsheet-per-question approach.
You would join the Data & Analytics team as a Senior Data Analyst, owning how a specific product area is measured and how Product and Growth teams make decisions based on that data. This is a high-impact role at an inflection point: the company has proven traction and scale, and your analysis directly informs roadmap investment decisions.
Key responsibilities include: defining success metrics before receiving product specs; designing and running A/B tests with honest interpretation of ambiguous results; tracking customer journeys through products across markets (conversion, retention, drop-off); identifying and fixing measurement gaps in both the metric layer and analysis; and challenging ideas while expecting the same rigor from colleagues.
You'll work closely with Product, Growth, Risk, and Financial Reporting teams, each with different analytical needs—growth teams need fast signals, while risk and finance require numbers that reconcile months later. The role demands ownership beyond your direct technical stack, including data ingestion, transformation, and product debugging when needed.
The tech stack uses Databricks and dbt with SQL-based transformation. The company values reasoning from data over specific tool expertise. Hybrid arrangement: 3 days in Amsterdam office, 2 remote, plus up to 4 weeks working from abroad annually. Competitive compensation €85k–€110k, 6% pension contribution, €50/month Alleo budget, 25 holiday days, learning programs, and high-spec equipment provided.
