Cloudflare is seeking a Senior Customer Engineer based in Hong Kong to drive technical go-to-market strategy and serve as a trusted advisor throughout the customer lifecycle. You will partner with Account Executives to lead technical discovery, design bespoke architectures, and deliver compelling product demonstrations and Proof of Concepts across Cloudflare's Security, Networking, and Developer Platforms.
As a quota-carrying technologist, you will own the complete technical relationship from initial discovery through long-term adoption and account expansion. Your responsibilities include conducting technical validation, acting as a strategic technical advisor, ensuring alignment between customer business goals and product roadmap, and driving commercial accountability for new business acquisition and account growth. You will lead technical Quarterly Business Reviews to translate platform capabilities into measurable ROI for C-level executives.
You will leverage AI-augmented workflows to eliminate administrative toil, automating routine tasks such as RFP responses, security questionnaires, sandbox provisioning, and telemetry monitoring. This allows you to focus on high-value architectural design and strategic customer advisory.
Required experience includes a background in customer-facing technical roles such as Solutions Engineering, Customer Engineering, Sales Engineering, or Forward Deployed Engineering. You should possess broad technical expertise spanning web security, networking (routing, DNS, DDoS mitigation), cloud infrastructure, and enterprise architecture. A proven track record in quota-carrying or revenue-aligned environments with strong understanding of SaaS metrics and enterprise sales cycles is essential. Exceptional presentation and stakeholder management skills are required to bridge technical implementation details with C-suite business strategy. Bilingual proficiency in English and Cantonese is required to support Hong Kong customers. Hands-on experience with Cloudflare's developer stack is highly desirable.
