The Credit team at Revolut designs and scales lending features that power global growth, managing the entire product lifecycle from backend systems to customer-facing experiences. This Senior Credit Manager role focuses on policy development and risk management for retail lending products.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing account-level valuation and credit underwriting policies using NPV frameworks to optimize portfolio-level economic returns
- Making data-driven decisions with emphasis on marginal decision-making and risk-based pricing
- Managing credit limits, retention strategies, over-limit policies, and portfolio risk adjustments
- Supporting annual budget, forecast, and planning processes
- Tracking and communicating performance of credit initiatives while monitoring key credit KPIs
- Identifying operational inefficiencies and managing implementation of departmental improvements
- Ensuring approval and positive ratings from first, second, and third-line risk functions and regulators
Required qualifications:
- Experience managing the risk cycle for retail credit products (credit cards, unsecured personal loans, etc.)
- Bachelor's degree from a top university in a quantitative/analytical field (engineering, statistics, physics, mathematics, economics, management)
- Solid understanding of credit policy governance frameworks and regulatory compliance
- Track record of delivering results that exceed requirements
- Knowledge of credit and behavioral scoring models for retail credit products
- Ability to explain complex concepts clearly and simply
- Understanding of balancing speed to market with elegant problem-solving
Nice-to-have qualifications include a master's degree and working knowledge of SQL, R, Python, or other data analysis tools.
