As Senior Counsel, you will provide direct legal support to GoodLeap's mortgage and HELOC product lines and business units as a member of the Legal Compliance team. This is a senior individual contributor role focused on delivering expert legal guidance across the organization.
Key responsibilities include:
- Advising on legal issues related to mortgage, consumer credit, and related financial products and services
- Supporting all business sectors with compliance and legal strategy
- Collaborating with outside counsel, in-house legal team members, and paralegals
- Ensuring regulatory compliance across mortgage and HELOC offerings
- Providing subject-matter expertise on consumer finance regulations and lending practices
You will work closely with product teams, business units, and compliance functions to navigate complex legal and regulatory landscapes in the fintech and sustainable finance space. The role requires deep expertise in mortgage law, consumer credit regulations, and financial services compliance.
