Arrive is seeking a Senior Corporate Tax Analyst to lead and manage the company's corporate tax function. This is an individual contributor role with potential to grow into a supervisory position as the company scales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead preparation and detailed review of federal, multi-state, and local corporate income and franchise tax returns, extensions, and quarterly estimated tax payments
- Own quarterly and year-end ASC 740 income tax provision calculations, including effective tax rate analysis, deferred tax asset/liability reconciliations, and financial statement tax footnote disclosures
- Manage general ledger tax account reconciliations, ensuring accurate roll-forwards and alignment with internal controls and financial reporting standards
- Partner with cross-functional teams and external tax and audit advisors to identify tax planning opportunities, streamline compliance workflows, and evaluate business transaction structures
- Coordinate indirect tax functions across multiple jurisdictions, including sales and use tax, property tax filings, gross receipts, and commercial activity taxes
- Monitor federal, state, and local legislative developments and deliver actionable guidance to leadership on tax liability impacts
- Serve as primary liaison during federal, state, and local audits, managing documentation, Information Document Requests (IDR) responses, and tax notice resolution
- Drive process automation and data integrity initiatives within tax technology, ERP systems, and spreadsheet modeling; experience with automation and AI tools is a strong plus

Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or equivalent professional experience; Master's in Taxation (MST) or Master of Accountancy (MAcc) preferred
- 2–6 years of progressive corporate tax experience in a mature corporate tax department, public accounting, or high-growth corporate environment
- CPA license or active candidacy preferred
- In-depth understanding of U.S. federal and multi-state corporate tax compliance, ASC 740 tax accounting standards, and state apportionment
- Experience in transportation, logistics, supply chain, or operationally complex multi-entity industries is a strong plus
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (financial modeling, nested lookups, pivot tables)
- Experience with enterprise ERP systems (NetSuite, Oracle, Workday) and tax compliance/provision platforms (ONESOURCE, Corptax) is a strong plus
- Exceptional organizational, project management, and analytical problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to communicate complex tax concepts to non-tax stakeholders and build cross-functional relationships
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environment with agility to manage multiple competing deadlines
