OneTrust is seeking a Senior Corporate Counsel to provide transactional support on commercial contracts for its AI-Ready Governance Platform. You will be part of the Commercial & Product Support team, handling a high volume of SaaS contract negotiations through the full contract lifecycle to execution.
Key responsibilities include:
- Negotiate and manage high-volume SaaS contracts from initiation through execution
- Provide ad-hoc legal support to the sales function
- Understand and integrate key IP, commercial, and finance requirements into contract terms
- Stay current on applicable laws, regulations, and industry guidance relevant to the business
- Drive compliance in day-to-day sales activities and provide training to sales teams
- Support updates to legal team templates and precedent documents
- Contribute to wider company projects assigned to the Commercial & Product Support team
You are an excellent communicator and negotiator who thrives in fast-paced environments. You are self-motivated, highly organized, and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining meticulous attention to detail. You work effectively across all organizational levels and can quickly adapt to shifting priorities.
Required qualifications:
- JD from an accredited U.S. law school
- Member of a State Bar in good standing
- 5+ years of commercial contracts experience
Preferred qualifications include experience in privacy, GRC, ethics & compliance, or ESG; high-volume commercial transactions at SaaS or technology companies; and familiarity with contract management platforms like Ironclad.
