Salary: USD 82,000 - 110,000 / annual
Robinhood is seeking a Senior Corporate Accountant to join its rapidly growing Corporate Accounting team. The role is hybrid-based across three offices (New York, Menlo Park, and Chicago) with in-person attendance required at least 3 days per week.
You will be responsible for analyzing and explaining monthly balance sheet and income statement fluctuations to help stakeholders understand financial drivers. Key responsibilities include recording and reconciling accrual and prepaid transactions, preparing and maintaining monthly journal entries, completing account reconciliations and flux analysis, and supporting both internal requests and external audit deliverables. You will research technical accounting questions to recommend practices aligned with GAAP, lead meetings with cross-functional stakeholders, and partner with departments to streamline data flow and processes. Additionally, you will contribute to system automation projects that enhance the efficiency of the monthly close process.
The Corporate Accounting team works closely with FP&A, Legal, Treasury, and external auditors to maintain accurate, timely, and audit-ready books. The team values clear communication, sound judgment, and collaborative problem-solving in a fast-moving, high-performing environment.

**Requirements:**
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 3–5 years of total experience, preferably combined in public accounting and industry
- Understanding of GAAP standards
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Experience with process improvement and proficiency with spreadsheets
- Hands-on experience in the financial close process (preferred)
- Experience with foreign entity accounting (preferred)
