Salary: USD 110,000 - 135,000 / annual
Crusoe is a vertically integrated AI infrastructure company building the energy and compute layer for the world's most ambitious AI workloads. The Senior Contracts Specialist (IT, Network & Cloud) serves as a strategic bridge between technical requirements and legal/financial compliance, overseeing complex procurement, SLA negotiations, and licensing models for modern data centers and cloud infrastructure.
In this role, you will manage the full contract lifecycle for IT and cloud services, including negotiating Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with focus on uptime metrics, latency, and mean time to repair (MTTR). You'll oversee transitions from perpetual licenses to subscription-based models across AWS, Azure, and GCP, ensuring all vendor agreements comply with GDPR, CCPA, SOC2, and internal security standards in coordination with the CISO.
Key responsibilities include financial and cost optimization by monitoring cloud consumption to eliminate unused licenses and inactive instances; lifecycle and renewal management to maximize bargaining power; dispute resolution and vendor oversight to enforce SLA compliance and negotiate credits; and asset tracking to maintain accurate inventory of physical hardware and software licenses.
You'll work cross-functionally with technical, legal, and financial leaders to protect company interests and translate complex technical concepts into clear business terms. The ideal candidate brings 3–5 years of IT procurement, technology vendor management, or legal contract administration experience, with deep understanding of cloud architecture, virtualization, and network security. Proficiency with Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platforms and enterprise ERP tools (SAP, Oracle) is essential. A Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, Information Technology, or related field is required. Bonus qualifications include CCCM certification, AWS cloud certifications, and experience managing data center hardware procurement. This is a 100% onsite role based in San Francisco.
