Crusoe is a vertically integrated AI infrastructure company building the energy-first platform powering the world's most ambitious AI workloads. The Senior Contracts Specialist (IT, Network & Cloud) serves as a critical bridge between technical requirements and legal/financial compliance, overseeing complex procurement, SLA negotiations, and licensing models for modern data centers and cloud infrastructure.
In this role, you will negotiate and draft complex Service Level Agreements (SLAs) focused on uptime metrics, latency, and mean time to repair (MTTR). You'll manage transitions from perpetual licenses to subscription-based cloud models across Azure, AWS, and GCP, ensuring all vendor agreements comply with GDPR, CCPA, SOC2, and internal security standards in coordination with the CISO. Your work includes monitoring cloud consumption to eliminate unused licenses and inactive instances, driving cost savings across the organization.
You'll oversee contract timelines and co-terminous renewal structures to maximize bargaining power, enforce SLA compliance, and negotiate credit claims when vendors fail to meet performance commitments. Additionally, you'll maintain accurate inventory of physical hardware assets (routers, switches, servers) and software licenses while working cross-functionally with technical, legal, and financial leaders.
The ideal candidate brings 3-5 years of dedicated experience in IT procurement, technology vendor management, or legal contract administration. You possess a deep understanding of cloud architecture (public vs. private), virtualization, and network security concepts. Hands-on experience with Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platforms and enterprise ERP tools like SAP or Oracle is essential. You demonstrate solid understanding of IP rights, liability limitations, and Data Processing Agreements (DPAs), with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business-driven terms for executives.
Bonus qualifications include Certified Professional Contract Manager (CCCM) certification, foundational cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner), and experience managing data center hardware procurement alongside cloud software contracts. This is a 100% on-site role at Crusoe's Denver, Cherry Creek office.
