Pluralsight's legal department seeks an experienced Senior Contracts Manager to join the EMEA Contracts team. This is a hands-on commercial role managing a broad range of agreement types including NDAs, MSAs, DPAs, and vendor contracts. The role requires sharp legal judgment, genuine commercial instinct, and confidence negotiating directly with customer legal and procurement teams.
Key responsibilities include analyzing, interpreting, and negotiating sophisticated provisions across commercial agreements; assessing risk and protecting Pluralsight's interests; engaging directly with external counsel on redlines and calls; and confidently holding positions on standard matters without escalation. You will manage contract workflow from initial request through execution, work cross-functionally with Sales and Finance, assist with RFP/RFI reviews, ensure GDPR and data protection compliance, and support process improvement initiatives.
Required experience includes extensive contracts handling (drafting and negotiation) in a corporate SaaS or technology services environment, with proven ability to negotiate directly with external counterparties across written and live discussions. Strong commercial judgment is essential—the ability to identify and articulate risk, provide pragmatic advice, and lead multiple simultaneous negotiations while prioritizing under pressure.
Minimum 8 years of contracts experience in a comparable environment (or 6+ years with relevant postgraduate qualification) is required. A law, business, or related degree is preferred. Prior in-house SaaS experience is a significant advantage. Demonstrable GDPR and data privacy knowledge is strongly preferred. Experience negotiating AI-related contract provisions (amendments, data training restrictions, output ownership, acceptable use) is a strong advantage. Comfort with contracts technology (CLM, e-signature platforms) is expected.
This is a remote role with a hybrid expectation: applicants within 50 km of the Dublin office should expect on-site work Wednesday and Thursday, with remote flexibility Monday, Tuesday, and Friday. The blended environment supports collaboration, flexibility, and connection. Pluralsight is mission-driven, focused on accelerating technology skills development globally across AI, cloud, cybersecurity, software development, and machine learning.
