Spark Advisors is a fast-growing healthcare technology platform transforming how Medicare brokers serve seniors. The company combines AI, CRM, and client services to help 10,000+ independent advisors navigate complex Medicare plan changes. Backed by Primary Ventures and Viewpoint Ventures, Spark is building tools to expand access to quality healthcare for millions of Americans.
This Senior Compliance & QA Specialist role leads Spark's agency monitoring program, overseeing risk assessment, corrective action, and regulatory reporting for the broker network. Operating with high autonomy, you will design and evolve the risk-based monitoring framework for downline agencies, establish risk-tiering methodology, and identify systemic compliance risks through data analysis.
Key responsibilities include: (1) leading the agency monitoring framework and risk oversight (40%), partnering with quality assurance and case management to incorporate findings into risk tiers; (2) owning carrier-facing and executive-level compliance reporting (25%), serving as the primary point of contact for carrier partners on monitoring requests; (3) independently developing and managing Corrective Action Plans and Performance Improvement Plans (20%), conducting root cause analysis on significant issues, and designing coaching materials; and (4) serving as a department subject matter expert on CMS Medicare marketing and agent oversight requirements (15%), mentoring less experienced specialists and representing compliance in cross-functional discussions.
You will work closely with the Compliance & QA Supervisor and Head of Compliance, escalating only complex or precedent-setting issues. This role is ideal for an experienced compliance professional seeking to lead an agency monitoring program, establish yourself as a go-to expert, and represent compliance externally with carriers and internally with leadership. The company offers remote work, sabbaticals, company retreats, and was recognized as one of Inc. Magazine's Best Workplaces of 2025.
