Adyen is a global financial technology platform providing payments, data, and financial products for enterprise customers like Meta, Uber, H&M, and Microsoft. The Compliance Data team sits at the intersection of regulatory excellence and data innovation, building the analytical engine that ensures Adyen scales safely across its global portfolio. In this Senior Compliance Data Analyst role, you will own the design and implementation of scalable, automated compliance solutions that replace manual, sample-based processes. Your responsibilities include automating compliance workflows across Adyen's entire platform, translating complex regulatory requirements into actionable data points and roadmap items, and designing frameworks to proactively detect compliance gaps. You will drive data literacy initiatives to elevate data fluency across teams, enabling self-service analysis and data-driven decision-making. You'll partner closely with Engineering to refine data structures and ensure compliance assets are accurate, accessible, and audit-ready. Additionally, you will define and support cross-functional initiatives that transition Adyen's compliance approach from reactive to data-driven. You bring 6+ years of technical proficiency in SQL, Python, and PySpark, with hands-on experience in Big Data technologies including Spark, Airflow, and Git. You are strategic and able to collaborate with non-technical teams, translating business requirements into technical plans. Your detail-oriented approach enables you to pinpoint inaccuracies and analyze behavior within large datasets with company-wide impact. You have an automation-first mindset, identifying and prioritizing automation opportunities while balancing efficiency gains with operational realities. A background in Compliance, Finance, Risk, or similar regulated industries is essential, along with a deep understanding of working within highly regulated banking environments. Adyen is an office-first company based in Amsterdam, valuing in-person collaboration. The company is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion, welcoming candidates from all backgrounds.
