Jane App is seeking a Senior Community Manager to own and develop programs that recognize, reward, and celebrate their community of 23,000+ healthcare practitioners across North America. This is a senior individual contributor role reporting directly to the Director of Community, partnering closely with a five-person team. You will drive the strategy and execution of community programming without managing a direct team. Key responsibilities include: - Owning recognition and rewards programs that celebrate long-time members, high-impact community contributors, and practitioners who've brought others to Jane - Developing a swag strategy as an engagement tool, from a customer swag store to creative touches in events and programs, including exploring brand partnerships - Building Jane's in-person community events program, scaling from one-off events to structured, repeatable experiences like customer meetups, campaign-tied gatherings, and intimate roundtables - Supporting existing programs (Bursary Program, Community Creator Program) and launching the Community Champions Program - Creating vertical-specific community experiences tailored to different practitioner groups (manual therapy, medical, behavioral health) in collaboration with Vertical Leads - Developing playbooks, templates, and repeatable processes using AI tools to enable program growth and scalability - Cross-functional collaboration with Marketing and Customer Support to ensure programs resonate and meet business needs Jane's mission is to help healthcare practitioners focus on patient care rather than business operations. The community is central to Jane's growth—most customers discover Jane through trusted community members, not advertising. This role celebrates and enables that organic growth. REQUIREMENTS: - 5+ years managing community, customer advocacy, or ambassador programs, with proven experience scaling programs from the ground up - Background in customer-facing functions (support, community, customer success) with analytical ability to identify meaningful metrics and drive program improvements - Strong project management skills: running multiple concurrent programs, campaigns, or events end-to-end, including budget ownership and tracking - Proficiency with AI tools and everyday platforms: Slack, Notion, Monday, RSVPify, Zoom, Canva, HubSpot - High autonomy and ability to manage priorities and execute independently with minimal guidance - Genuine care for customers and community members; ability to design for delight, not just functionality - Empathy for healthcare practice operations and instinct to provide personalized, specific care rather than broad-brush service
