The Senior Communications Manager will serve as the communications leader for Samsara Mexico, owning a comprehensive 360-degree strategy spanning external media relations (60%), internal communications (30%), and talent brand (10%). This role sits at the intersection of storytelling and market impact, translating Samsara's global momentum into locally resonant narratives that elevate brand presence with top-tier Mexican business and tech media, grow executive share of voice, and connect employees to the company's broader journey. Key responsibilities include: - Developing and executing a comprehensive communications strategy for the Mexico market across earned, owned, and regional LinkedIn channels - Building and maintaining strong relationships with top-tier business, technology, and trade journalists across Mexico and broader LatAm, serving as Samsara's primary media contact in market - Creating localized story angles and pitches connecting Samsara's global platform narrative to Mexico-specific customer wins, industry trends, and market moments - Managing press outreach, content programs, and executive visibility initiatives - Collaborating closely with the Marketing team on integrated campaigns - Developing internal communications that connect employees to company strategy and wins - Supporting talent brand initiatives to attract top talent to the Mexico office This is a hybrid role based in Mexico City (Avenida Rio San Joaquin #498, Suite 303 and 304, Ampliacion Granada, Miguel Hidalgo, 11529) requiring occasional office presence. The ideal candidate brings strategic communications expertise, deep knowledge of the Mexican media landscape, fluency in Spanish and English, and experience building executive visibility and brand presence in competitive markets.
