Omada Health is seeking a Senior Clinical Research Scientist to join its Clinical & Translational Research team, reporting to the Senior Director of Clinical & Translational Research. This role is central to generating high-quality clinical, economic, and health outcomes evidence that demonstrates the value of Omada's digital health programs for chronic disease management. Key responsibilities include designing and conducting rigorous studies and analyses across Omada's product portfolio, with a strong emphasis on health economics and outcomes research (HEOR). You will conceptualize research questions and study designs, perform advanced statistical analyses on diverse data sources (member-level data, EHR, healthcare claims, survey data, clinical trial databases), and interpret results for multiple audiences. You will lead or support HEOR analyses including cost-effectiveness, cost-offset, budget impact, utilization, and return on investment studies. A critical part of this role involves developing evidence packages that translate clinical outcomes into economic value narratives for health plans, employers, health systems, and strategic customers. You will analyze medical and pharmacy claims, EHR, laboratory, and biometric data to quantify impact on utilization, total cost of care, quality measures, and member outcomes. You will partner cross-functionally with Clinical Strategy, Commercial, Product, Finance, and Market Access teams to translate research findings into compelling customer-facing stories and commercialization assets. You will disseminate findings through peer-reviewed manuscripts, abstracts, conference presentations, white papers, and commercial evidence materials. Additional responsibilities include designing mixed-methods studies integrating quantitative and qualitative data, collaborating on experiments and quality improvement initiatives using evidence-based behavioral science, and helping shape Omada's HEOR roadmap by identifying priority evidence gaps and publication strategies. You will contribute to studies assessing clinical effectiveness and economic value of digital health behavior change programs for chronic conditions including diabetes, hypertension, obesity, and musculoskeletal conditions.
