Beacon Biosignals is seeking a Senior Clinical Implementation Manager to lead end-to-end implementation of its at-home EEG diagnostic platform across the West territory. You will report to the National Clinical Implementation Director as an individual contributor (no direct reports) but will mentor peers and coordinate work across implementation projects.
You will own the clinical and operational implementation journey for assigned customers—sleep labs, health systems, and provider organizations—from pre-contract through sustained daily adoption. This includes delivering product demos, building detailed implementation plans, designing and delivering clinical education tailored to diverse audiences (physicians, sleep technologists, administrative staff), supporting go-lives, and coaching accounts through post-launch adoption.
Unlike traditional implementation roles focused solely on deployment milestones, success here is measured by sustained usage, behavioral adoption, and long-term workflow integration. Your influence extends beyond your own accounts: you will set standards, build playbooks, and establish best practices that the broader team adopts. You will exercise independent judgment on implementation sequencing, adoption measurement, and account stabilization criteria, particularly for first-of-kind customers and new indications.
Key responsibilities include: owning end-to-end implementation execution with clean handoffs to steady-state support; providing virtual and on-site clinical support across all phases; building implementation plans that account for clinical workflow design, staffing, order routing, patient communication, and administrative processes; delivering comprehensive, audience-specific training and maintaining reusable materials and competency checklists; tracking and driving adoption outcomes (utilization, ordering patterns, turnaround, workflow adherence); diagnosing root causes of low usage and driving corrective action; partnering with clinical and operational leaders to embed Beacon into daily practice; serving as the clinical operational point of contact from pre-sale through early adoption; acting as subject matter expert on sleep testing workflows and home sleep apnea testing; partnering with Regional Sales Managers on clean handoffs and participating in QBRs and renewal discussions; providing structured product feedback grounded in implementation experience; mentoring peers and newer specialists on strategy, execution, and collaboration; prioritizing multi-quarter priorities for the clinical implementation function; and adhering to all regulatory, compliance, quality, and privacy standards (HIPAA, medical device, SaMD).
The role is highly cross-functional, requiring strong communication, systems thinking, empathy, and execution discipline. You will work across clinicians, executives, and frontline staff. Beacon offers robust asynchronous work practices and in-person office hubs in Boston, New York, or the Bay Area. Travel to customer sites across the West region is required (50–75% nationally).
REQUIREMENTS:
- Active RPSGT (Registered Polysomnographic Technologist) certification
- 8+ years of direct experience in sleep medicine, sleep lab operations, or home sleep apnea testing
- Demonstrated experience owning demos, customer implementations, clinical training, or go-live support in healthcare settings
- Experience delivering training and education to both clinical and administrative audiences
- Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Support, Marketing, and Product teams
- Demonstrated experience mentoring or coaching peers, and setting standards or best practices adopted beyond your own work
- Experience planning work across multiple quarters and multiple stakeholder groups
- Willingness to travel nationally (up to 50–75%), including on-site go-live support
- Familiarity with CRM tools, enablement platforms, and project tracking tools
- US-based, anchored in the West territory
NICE-TO-HAVES:
- Adoption-focused mindset and clinical workflow fluency
- Systems and operational thinking; independent judgment at scale
- Multiplier effect through mentorship and reusable best practices
- Comfort in fast-paced, high-growth startup environments
- Familiarity with healthcare IT systems (EHR/EMR)
- Experience supporting SaMD or regulated medical device products
- Prior experience at early- or growth-stage healthcare companies
- Experience building a function's playbooks, templates, or training curricula from the ground up
