Ramp is building smart infrastructure for finance teams, automating how over $200B in annualized spend flows through 70,000+ companies. As the founding Channel Partner Manager for Canada, you will build Ramp's partner motion from the ground up, helping Canadian businesses discover and adopt Ramp through trusted advisors and ecosystem partners.
This is a zero-to-one role where you own the full partner lifecycle: identifying and engaging Canadian accounting, advisory, private equity, and venture capital partners; signing agreements; enabling partners; and generating partner-sourced pipeline. You will build Ramp's Canadian channel strategy and operating rhythm, research and qualify net-new partners, create joint go-to-market plans, and drive revenue through referrals. You'll develop trusted relationships with decision-makers inside partner organizations, educate them on Ramp's capabilities, own partner onboarding and activation, and work closely with the Canadian Sales team to advance opportunities.
You'll partner with Product to surface partner needs and inform the Canadian roadmap, and work cross-functionally with Sales, Growth, Product, Engineering, and the broader Partnerships organization. The ideal candidate is a hands-on builder comfortable opening relationships, running partner meetings, solving operational blockers, and turning early learnings into repeatable playbooks.
Required: 8+ years of relevant experience including 5+ years in partner sales, business development, channel partnerships, or related roles. You need high agency, urgency, and resilience; proven track record sourcing and managing partnerships; self-starter mindset; strong discovery and consultative-selling skills; excellent communication; operating discipline; ability to succeed in fast-paced environments; strong cross-functional judgment; familiarity with Canadian business and technology ecosystem; comfort using AI tools; and ability to travel frequently to in-person events in Canada.
Nice to have: experience building new partner motions or verticals from early stage; professional French proficiency; presence in Canadian accounting, advisory, PE, VC, fintech, or technology partner networks; familiarity with finance and accounting workflows.
