Salary: USD 97,900 - 221,800 / annual
Bread Financial seeks a Senior Business Intelligence Specialist to serve as a techno-business subject matter expert and evangelist for data, services, and tools. This role accelerates organizational adoption of data-driven decision-making and analytical capabilities across the company.
You will represent the data and analytics team in multi-department discussions around the reporting ecosystem and analytical tools, maximizing business impact. Based in the technology department, you'll work across four primary responsibilities:
**Domain Expertise (40%):** Serve as a department expert for reporting, data infrastructure, and BI tools. You'll utilize Dataiku, SQL, Tableau, MicroStrategy, and Excel to improve efficiency and drive adoption within specific domains and departments.
**Education & Training (30%):** Educate and train teams on reporting, data infrastructure, and analytical tools. Drive organizational adoption of self-service data capabilities and BI platforms across the business.
**Project Leadership (20%):** Lead or collaborate on initiatives to enhance the business impact of the self-service data ecosystem and BI tools. Develop advanced solutions, solve complex problems independently, and mentor junior analysts.
**Innovation (10%):** Develop advanced analytical solutions and mentor team members.
You'll report to a manager and have no direct reports. The role requires 5+ years of hands-on experience with SQL, Dataiku, Tableau, MicroStrategy, Microsoft BI, Spotfire, and ETL tools (SSAS, SSIS). Experience in banking, card services, consulting, retail, marketing, loyalty, or financial services is highly valued.
Preferred qualifications include a bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, engineering, information systems, economics, business, or finance (master's degree a plus). MicroStrategy and AWS certifications are advantageous.
