Salary: USD 120,500 - 163,500 / annual
Intuit seeks a Senior Business Data Analyst to lead capacity planning and resource optimization for the Consumer Group (TurboTax and TurboTax Live). This role sits on the Modern Ops Expert Planning team and owns the development of headcount, hiring, and capacity planning frameworks that balance customer experience, employee experience, and cost efficiency across tax operations.
Key responsibilities include defining and standardizing optimized network plans at the business unit level; leading capacity risk identification and mitigation across concurrent initiatives; developing KPI frameworks and success metrics that inform VP-level strategic decisions; and partnering with internal technology teams to implement planning tools and automation. You will conduct operational impact assessments for product, skill, and channel launches, build end-to-end resource and delivery plans in collaboration with cross-functional teams (Demand Planning, Service Delivery, Partner Management, Talent Acquisition, Finance), and leverage AI/GenAI and BI tools to solve planning challenges.
The role requires strong analytical and storytelling skills to influence Director+ stakeholders across Product, Service Delivery, Partner Management, Talent Acquisition, and Finance. You will standardize processes and reporting infrastructure, identify scalable solutions, and operate with a mindset toward solutions others can adopt across the organization.
Required qualifications: 3+ years in capacity planning, workforce management, or labor modeling with demonstrated ownership of complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives; program or project management experience in ambiguous environments; advanced Excel and SQL proficiency; working knowledge of big data tools (Redshift, Spark) and BI platforms (Tableau, Qlik); ability to define KPI frameworks and model complex capacity scenarios; strong communication and cross-functional influence skills; track record of building scalable analytical frameworks adopted beyond immediate team.
