Salary: USD 105,000 - 145,000 / annual
Chime, a fintech company, is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support Third Party Risk Management (TPRM). In this role, you will assess and oversee third-party relationships—including vendors and partners—throughout the TPRM lifecycle. You will conduct business due diligence, assess third-party risk, and coordinate risk assessments with cross-functional partners including Information Security, Privacy, Compliance, Enterprise Risk Management, and Legal.
Key responsibilities include:
- Review and challenge Inherent Risk Questionnaires (IRQs) with business owners to validate information and determine appropriate risk and criticality ratings
- Conduct business due diligence including corporate registration reviews, reputational checks, insurance coverage analysis, and background coordination
- Manage assigned third-party assessments through completion, coordinating with stakeholders to address questions and escalate concerns
- Facilitate vendor approval processes with Chime's bank partners, tracking approvals and responding to follow-up requests
- Identify and document TPRM assessment issues, partnering with stakeholders to track and resolve third-party risk and remediation activities
- Support ongoing monitoring and periodic reassessments of third-party relationships
- Clearly document TPRM assessments, risk decisions, and supporting rationale
- Provide guidance to business owners on TPRM requirements, processes, and expectations
- Contribute to TPRM program development through process improvements, tooling enhancements, reporting, and policy updates
- Support internal audits, regulatory examinations, and bank partner oversight activities

REQUIREMENTS:
- 4+ years of experience in Third Party Risk Management, Vendor Risk Management, Operational Risk, Compliance, Audit, or related risk management function
- Experience with third-party risk assessments, due diligence, and related TPRM activities
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with ability to challenge information, identify gaps, synthesize from multiple sources, and make risk-based decisions
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across business owners, risk functions, and cross-functional teams
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple assessments, approvals, and competing priorities
- Experience contributing to risk program initiatives such as process improvement, policy development, tooling enhancements, reporting, or audit support
- Familiarity with regulatory expectations and industry practices for third-party risk management, including applicable interagency guidance
- Preferred: Experience in financial services, fintech, banking, or another regulated environment
- Preferred: Familiarity with Third Party Risk Management platforms, workflow tools, and reporting solutions
