Rubrik, a fast-growing cloud data management and cybersecurity company (valued at $3.3B, Forbes Cloud 100 honoree), is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join its Renewals & Sales Analytics team in Bangalore. This role focuses on driving strategic and tactical analysis to support subscription renewals, customer retention, and revenue growth.
You will own weekly, monthly, and quarterly pipeline analysis, data validation, and gap identification. Key responsibilities include forecasting renewal growth and churn likelihood, developing retention action plans, identifying process automation opportunities, and communicating performance insights to Sales, Renewal Ops, and Customer Success leadership. You will analyze customer data to identify at-risk accounts, determine root causes of churn, and recommend targeted retention strategies. Additionally, you will drive continuous improvement initiatives around performance metrics, data accuracy, and operational processes, while supporting the development and presentation of business outcomes to stakeholders.
This is a hands-on analytical role requiring strong business acumen, the ability to work independently on complex data problems, and excellent cross-functional collaboration. You will report to Renewals and Sales leadership and partner closely with customer-facing teams to translate data insights into actionable business strategies.
Shift: EST (5:30 PM – 2:30 AM IST).
Requirements:
- 6+ years of professional experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or related analytical roles
- Bachelor's degree in an analytically rigorous field (MBA preferred)
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Excel, and business intelligence tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Hands-on experience with CRM systems (Salesforce) and sales operations tools (Clari)
- Proven ability to analyze complex business problems, identify trends and patterns, and translate data into actionable insights
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Excellent time management, communication, and collaboration skills
- Experience with data analytics, modeling, and ability to work independently
- Knowledge of Rubrik products and services is preferable
