Salary: USD 122,000 - 182,000 / annual

Relativity Space is building rockets to serve today's needs and tomorrow's breakthroughs. The Terran R vehicle will deliver customer payloads to orbit, meeting growing demand for launch capacity. The Reliability team ensures quality is built into every stage of the Terran R design and production process, embedding reliability from the very beginning. In this role, you will own reliability initiatives across multiple domains as the program transitions from development into production and scaled operations. Your responsibilities will span: **Design & Configuration:** Drawing standardization, design for manufacturability (DFM), and configuration management and control. **Planning & Documentation:** Work instruction review, process development, and standard rework/repair documentation. **Manufacturing & Verification:** In-process build verification, coordination of travelled work, and quality inspections. **Program Management:** Nonconformance ticket processes, as-built verification, root cause analysis, and corrective action tracking. **Quality Initiatives:** Drive projects to facilitate quality in the growing launch vehicle program, including specification development, walk-down checklists, automation initiatives for quality inspection, and DFM practices. **Cross-functional Collaboration:** Develop strong working relationships with Engineering, Additive Manufacturing, Manufacturing, Test, and Launch teams to ensure all company objectives are met. This is a second shift position with a standard schedule of 3pm–1:30am PT, Monday through Friday, with a baseline expectation of a 50-hour workweek. A 10% shift differential is provided in addition to salary. **Requirements:** - Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or other STEM field - Minimum 5 years of experience acting as a Quality Engineer at a fast-paced manufacturing company - Extensive experience interfacing with design engineering, manufacturing, production, and test personnel - In-depth knowledge of aerospace manufacturing and complex assembly practices - Understanding of AS9100/ISO9001 applications and practices for aerospace programs - Self-starter who can define and own a process from scratch and roll out that process through adept communication to a diverse team
