As Senior Associate Venture Development, you will work on central business initiatives and own cross-functional projects with direct impact on growth, processes, and performance. You will operate at the intersection of strategy, operations, analytics, and business development, with significant ownership and execution velocity.
Key responsibilities include:
- Identifying operational and strategic levers to improve the business and driving their implementation independently
- Analyzing complex business problems, structuring data, and deriving concrete recommendations
- Collaborating closely with Operations, Finance, Product, Marketing, and Commercial teams to make processes more efficient and scalable
- Developing business cases, prioritizing initiatives, and steering central KPIs
- Owning cross-functional projects and ensuring successful execution
- Documenting results systematically so teams can act on them immediately
The role offers a hybrid work setup with flexibility to work from anywhere up to 30 days per year (Workflex). You'll work in a modern Berlin-Friedrichshain office and be part of a diverse team of 65+ nationalities. REQUIREMENTS:
- Completed degree in business, engineering, data/business analytics, business informatics, or comparable field
- Minimum 5 years relevant professional experience in venture development, business operations, consulting, analytics, startups, or technology-driven environments
- Strong analytical mindset and comfort with complex, data-driven problem-solving
- Very good Excel/Google Sheets skills; experience with SQL, BI tools, or data pipelines is a plus
- Takes ownership, works hands-on, and demonstrates high execution strength
- Clear and structured communication in German and English
