This role offers an opportunity to join the core Finance team in London as a Finance Transformation Senior Associate, playing a pivotal role in strengthening accounting capabilities and shaping the future of financial processes. You will drive key transformation projects with a specific focus on building out the Transactional Ledger and achieving accelerated financial close. Responsibilities include supporting and driving project workstreams from analysis through implementation, using data analysis to scrutinize existing accounting processes to identify inefficiencies and control gaps, and designing scalable standardized processes. You will contribute to change management activities by preparing documentation, supporting user training, and serving as a point of contact for stakeholder queries. Collaboration with local and global finance teams is essential to ensure project alignment and successful outcomes. You will support implementation of robust control frameworks for new processes, ensuring compliance with internal policies and international accounting standards (IFRS), and track KPIs to measure transformation initiative success. Required qualifications include a professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent) and solid understanding of core accounting principles, month-end close procedures, and financial controls. Strong data analytics skills are essential, including proficiency with SQL, Python (Pandas), and BI tools such as Looker or Power BI. Demonstrable experience contributing to finance change or process improvement projects in fast-paced environments is required, with experience in financial close optimization, general ledger systems, or process standardization highly desirable. You must demonstrate strong project and organizational skills, managing multiple concurrent workstreams with attention to detail and deadline management. Prior fintech or payments industry experience is advantageous. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills are critical, with ability to engage credibly at various organizational levels. A proactive, problem-solving mindset with resilience and adaptability to thrive under pressure is essential. Fluency in English is required.
