In this Senior Associate Accounting role, you will serve as an individual contributor responsible for critical accounting functions within defined timelines. Your responsibilities include:
Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile all bank accounts, apply transactional accounting knowledge, and ensure all payments are properly posted in the console portal.
Accounts Payable: Manage the full AP process with strong understanding of accounting entries and transactional accounting, ensuring timely payment posting.
Monthly Financial Closure: Assist in closing Cvent Inc.'s books of accounts by preparing schedules and entries for prepaymentsaccruals, fixed asset depreciation, and deferred income. Prepare balance sheet reconciliations for various accounts.
Financial Audit Support: Provide assistance during yearly financial audits.
Financial Analysis: Perform various financial and accounting analyses to support business decision-making.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce or MBA in Finance
- 2+ years of experience in transactional accounting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Knowledge of ERP systems, preferably Oracle EBS
- US-GAAP knowledge is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and coordination abilities
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
- Flexibility and multitasking ability
