As a Senior Associate in Account Management based in Ho Chi Minh City, you will drive growth of new and existing client relationships by developing and implementing supply chain solutions tailored to complex global freight forwarding needs. This is a key role to expand Flexport's presence in Vietnam.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and launch new solutions for large, complex global freight forwarding clients
- Accelerate growth across Flexport's service portfolio (Air, Ocean, Domestic, Cross-border Logistics, Trade Advisory, Customs, PO Management)
- Partner with global teams across North America, Europe, and Asia to identify expansion opportunities with existing accounts
- Work cross-functionally with Operations, Procurement, Implementation, Legal, and Trade/Financial Services teams to execute client strategies
- Build and maintain relationships with management-level contacts at major global brands
- Stay informed on industry and supply chain developments; proactively educate and support clients through change
- Travel to other provinces in southern Vietnam to visit clients and factories
Required qualifications:
- 5+ years of client-facing experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain
- Entrepreneurial mindset with proven track record of delivering innovation and driving results
- Experience working in complex global team matrices
- Strong ability to build client relationships locally and globally and leverage them for business growth
- Strategic thinking and disciplined planning with strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication across all channels with strong English proficiency
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Highly collaborative with track record of building strong internal and external relationships
