Wonderful is seeking an experienced Senior AR & Billing Accountant to join its global accounts receivable team. This is a hands-on role combining billing, collections, accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting. You will own the end-to-end billing and AR process across multiple global entities, ensuring AR data accuracy and full reconciliation with the general ledger.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning the complete billing and AR process across global entities
- Reviewing contracts and commercial terms to ensure accurate, timely billing
- Managing complex billing models, issuing invoices and credit notes
- Managing collection activities, customer follow-ups, and escalations
- Maintaining accurate AR aging reports and collection forecasts
- Reconciling AR aging and customer balances with the general ledger and balance sheet
- Investigating discrepancies and reconciling payments, credits, FX differences, and unapplied receipts
- Supporting monthly and quarterly closing, including journal entries, reconciliations, and cut-off procedures
- Providing accurate AR data for cash flow reporting, treasury planning, and management reporting
- Supporting audits and improving billing, collection, reconciliation, and reporting processes
- Collaborating with Sales, Customer Success, Legal, Treasury, and Accounting teams
- Ensuring data consistency across NetSuite, Salesforce, and internal billing platforms
- Managing end-to-end billing through global cloud marketplaces, including transaction reconciliation, fees, payouts, and reporting
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in AR, billing, accounting, or similar finance role
- Strong accounting knowledge with hands-on month-end close and balance sheet reconciliation experience
- Hands-on experience with global cloud marketplaces (AWS Marketplace, Microsoft Azure Marketplace, Google Cloud Marketplace)
- Proven experience reconciling AR aging to the general ledger
- Experience preparing collection forecasts, cash reports, and management reporting
- Strong understanding of the order-to-cash cycle
- Advanced Excel skills and excellent written and spoken English
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, global environment
