You will join the Technical Accounting & Financial Reporting team as a Finance Associate, responsible for end-to-end financial statement preparation, technical accounting matters, and M&A accounting support. This is a hands-on role requiring deep technical accounting expertise and financial services domain knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft and prepare complete USGAAP and IFRS financial statements from scratch, including Balance Sheets, Income Statements, Notes to Accounts, and relevant disclosures
- Ensure compliance with applicable statutory accounting frameworks and technical standards
- Handle complex accounting treatments and technical disclosures related to financial instruments and financial products
- Support M&A accounting activities, business combinations, and special accounting projects
- Assist with reporting platform enhancements and system implementation initiatives
Requirements:
- 2–4+ years of relevant experience in technical accounting and financial reporting
- Big 4 advisory background strongly preferred, with focus on client advisory or technical accounting consulting (not standard financial audit)
- Strong background in Financial Services with hands-on understanding of financial instruments and complex financial products
- Demonstrated ability to prepare full financial statements and notes to accounts independently
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Nice-to-Have:
- Prior experience with Workiva platform implementation
- Prior exposure to accounting advisory services or M&A transaction support
- Experience or working knowledge of financial platform implementations
