Celonis is seeking a Senior Applied Value Engineer specializing in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) and Consumer Goods Manufacturing (CMT) for the North America market, based in Bangalore. This role bridges technical process mining expertise with strategic business outcomes, positioning you as an architect for critical customer work-streams.
You will serve as a trusted advisor to major CPG accounts, translating complex operational data into clear value drivers and measurable business impact. Working in partnership with Celonis Sales Teams, you own the end-to-end value journey for customers—from identifying opportunities through realization and scaling.
Key responsibilities include:
**Identify & Frame Value:** Analyze client strategic priorities (omnichannel growth, margin protection, supply chain agility, sustainability) and map them to high-impact Celonis use cases. Architect solutions across demand planning, trade promotions management, logistics, and direct-to-consumer fulfillment. Build data-backed business cases articulating financial and operational impact (COGS reduction, working capital optimization, OTIF delivery improvements). Develop demos and business cases leveraging industry benchmarks to win expansion opportunities. Conduct value assessments and proof-of-value projects, communicating strategic roadmaps to C-level executives.
**Realize Value:** Lead value workstreams for pilots and implementations, ensuring digital twin strategies monitor process health in high-volume retail environments. Guide customers on using Celonis to provide context to AI agents, coordinating hand-offs across Order-to-Cash, Source-to-Pay, and Plan-to-Produce. Tackle implementation challenges including retailer compliance, master data governance, and supply network visibility. Facilitate business value workshops identifying process enhancement opportunities. Derive improvement measures and initiate enterprise-wide change initiatives. Present realized value to senior management.
**Scale Value:** Codify solutions into reusable assets for the broader Value Engineering team. Mentor junior engineers on CPG terminology, seasonality nuances, and retail stakeholder management. Provide product feedback bridging customer needs with platform enhancements (trade spend visibility, SKU rationalization). Manage the complete customer journey: landing, expanding, adoption, and renewal.
