Celonis is the global leader in Process Intelligence and Process Mining technology. As a fast-growing enterprise SaaS company, Celonis is pioneering the use of advanced AI capabilities—specifically the Process Intelligence Graph—to turn data insights into immediate business action.
In this Senior Applied AI Solutions Consultant role, you will work directly with strategic enterprise customers in the public sector to understand their objectives and key challenges, identify high-impact opportunities for AI, and deliver measurable business value. You will build Celonis solutions using the Process Intelligence platform in combination with leading AI and ML technology partners such as Microsoft, OpenAI, and Databricks.
Your primary focus will be on problem framing, solution design, and business impact rather than pure software engineering. You will prototype AI solutions, demonstrate their value to executives, and ensure successful implementation, adoption, and value realization to expand Celonis' footprint with customers.
Key responsibilities include: identifying high-impact AI opportunities by understanding strategic priorities and operational challenges; designing AI-powered solutions that combine Process Intelligence with modern AI technologies; rapidly building prototypes and proof-of-value demonstrations; leading innovation workshops and hackathons with customers; driving adoption and measurable business impact; and developing deep domain expertise in specific industries such as supply chain or finance.
You should have 5+ years of experience in solutions consulting, data/AI consulting, technical pre-sales, sales engineering, value engineering, or customer-facing solution architecture. You excel at translating business challenges into technical solutions and communicating complex concepts to business and executive stakeholders. Experience with business processes across sectors, strong presentation skills, Python prototyping, and familiarity with generative AI architectures (RAG, prompt engineering, agent-based systems) are important. A Bachelor's degree is required; advanced degrees in computer science, engineering, or mathematics are a plus.
Native-level French proficiency is required for this role. You must be able to lead customer workshops, conduct executive presentations, and manage stakeholder interactions in French.
