You'll join a ~20-person technology department as a Senior Analytics Engineer reporting to the Director of Data. This is a hands-on individual contributor role at the center of Digible's data warehouse strategy. You'll own the Silver and Gold layers of the medallion architecture, build and govern the semantic layer that provides authoritative metric definitions, and shape BI tooling and standards used by ~1,000 multifamily clients and internal teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Drive data warehouse strategy and performance: shape modeling standards, materialization strategy, and query optimization for both speed and cost; evaluate warehouse direction (currently Snowflake)
- Own Silver- and Gold-layer modeling in dbt: build clean, documented, tested, and governed models; consolidate redundant views; resolve metric drift and non-additive measure issues
- Build and govern the semantic layer: establish single source of truth for metric definitions, eliminate divergent measure definitions across tools
- Partner with Data Engineering on Bronze-to-Silver handoff and work with analysts and business stakeholders to translate questions into trustworthy models and metrics
- Leverage AI tools as a natural part of your engineering workflow to accelerate building, debugging, and delivery
