Salary: USD 80,000 - 120,000 / annual
Constructor is a Series B ecommerce search and discovery platform that processes over 1 billion queries daily across 150 languages and 100+ countries. The company has built a proprietary search engine using transformers and generative LLMs, powering search, recommendations, and shopping agents for major retailers like Sephora, Under Armour, and Petco.
As a Senior Analytics Engineer, you will design and build data pipelines, models, dashboards, and tools that transform billions of daily events into reliable, actionable data products. This role combines strong technical execution with genuine business acumen—you'll work closely with analysts, engineers, and product managers to translate business needs into well-designed data solutions.
Key responsibilities include: designing and building scalable data pipelines and models; creating dashboards and reports that make large-scale behavioral data usable and trustworthy; defining and validating business metrics with stakeholders; ensuring data quality and performance across systems handling massive scale; and partnering cross-functionally to solve real business problems.
You'll work with SQL, Python, and distributed data systems at very large scale. The role requires expert-level SQL, experience with modern analytics stacks (dbt, Airflow, or similar), and strong product understanding—particularly ecommerce metrics like revenue, conversion, and engagement. You should be comfortable owning analytics areas end-to-end in a fast-paced environment and communicating clearly with both technical and business stakeholders.
Preferred experience includes building customer-facing or embedded analytics and working in ecommerce. Constructor values empathy, openness, curiosity, and continuous improvement.
