Salary: USD 120,000 - 130,000 / annual
Ophelia is a venture-backed healthcare startup providing FDA-approved medication and clinical care for opioid use disorder (OUD) through a telehealth platform. Operating in 16 states, the company is backed by leading technology and healthcare investors and staffed by physicians, scientists, entrepreneurs, and researchers.
As Senior Analyst in Strategic Finance, you will support core financial operations of this growing multi-state healthcare business. Reporting directly to the FP&A Manager, you will own recurring components of monthly close and financial reporting, build understanding of the business through its numbers, and grow into broader ownership of internal ROI analyses to drive company growth.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning recurring components of monthly close and working with external accounting partners to maintain the close calendar
- Drafting monthly reporting packages covering company and state-level P&Ls, variable unit economics, and leadership financials decks
- Building and maintaining department- and state-level budget versus actual reporting, working with budget owners to explain variances
- Preparing external financial deliverables including board and lender materials
- Supporting annual planning and re-forecast cycles by partnering with department leads
- Running ad hoc internal ROI analyses to drive company decision-making
This is a cross-functional role requiring regular collaboration with Operations, Technology, Marketing, and People team leadership.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3+ years of experience in FP&A, accounting, or comparable analytical finance role with track record of owning monthly close and reporting cycles
- Strong accounting foundation including accrual concepts and understanding of income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement flows
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; ability to build models from scratch and audit others' work
- Stellar communications and stakeholder management skills with ability to create data-backed points of view
- Experience in healthcare (ideally digital healthcare), multi-state operations, regulated environments, or claims-based revenue exposure
- Passion for mission to make evidence-based addiction treatment universally accessible
- Plus: Direct experience with Netsuite, Claude & Claude for Excel, or BI tools such as Lightdash
