Twilio is seeking a Senior Security Risk Analyst to join the One Twilio Risk Management program. This role focuses on maturing the company's security risk posture by facilitating risk identification, assessment, and treatment across the organization.
You will be responsible for executing and improving daily operations of the risk management program, including establishing automated processes for cyber risk tracking. Key responsibilities include managing risk registers to track key risk indicators (KRIs), collaborating with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Security) to ensure risks are clearly communicated and actionable, and reviewing the effectiveness of risk treatment strategies.
You will analyze risk data from multiple sources to assess trends and develop predictive models, using data analytics and risk modeling tools to evaluate legal, financial, operational, and security impacts. Regular reporting is critical—you'll prepare dashboards, presentations, and ad-hoc reports for internal and external stakeholders, highlighting risk trends, issues, and mitigation efforts.
The role requires coordinating with internal and external auditors to support compliance assessments and resolve risk-related findings. You'll ensure all cyber risks align with regulatory requirements (cybersecurity, telecom/sector-specific regulations) and industry best practices (NIST RMF, AI RMF, COSO, ISO 31000).
Required qualifications: 5+ years of risk management experience with security-centric frameworks; proven ability to design and execute qualitative and quantitative risk analyses; experience managing large-scale, heavily regulated, multi-entity risk assessments and compliance programs; strong cross-functional collaboration skills; ability to translate technical vulnerabilities into business impact; experience with automation and tooling; familiarity with AI applications in risk operations; and excellent communication skills.
