Okta is seeking a Senior Analyst for People Analytics to join their People Analytics team in Bengaluru. This role sits at the intersection of HR strategy and data science, supporting workforce insights across the entire employee lifecycle. You will analyze employee data spanning hiring, onboarding, engagement, performance, promotions, compensation, headcount, and attrition. Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining dashboards, scorecards, and recurring reports that translate complex workforce data into actionable business insights. You'll respond to ad hoc analytics requests, partner with People Business Partners and HR Centers of Excellence on workforce planning and talent reviews, and validate data accuracy in collaboration with HR Technology teams. The role emphasizes both traditional people analytics and emerging capabilities. You'll perform statistical analyses to identify workforce trends and risks, support predictive modeling for attrition and workforce planning, and contribute to forecasting and organizational reporting. Additionally, you'll analyze employee survey data and feedback using Natural Language Processing techniques like sentiment analysis and text analytics, and help evaluate AI-enabled analytics capabilities that improve reporting efficiency. Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Analytics, Economics, Mathematics, HR, or related field, plus 3–5 years of experience in People Analytics, HR Analytics, Business Analytics, or Data Analytics. You must have advanced proficiency in Tableau, Snowflake, Excel, SQL, and enterprise HR platforms (Workday, ServiceNow, Greenhouse). Python or R experience is preferred. You should be comfortable with statistical techniques including regression, forecasting, segmentation, and trend analysis, and have strong skills in data visualization and dashboard development. Familiarity with NLP, Generative AI, or machine learning is a plus. Above all, you need strong communication skills to present findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
